awesome guys, i ran into that a few times and it was really really annoying, thanks for the shortcuts

OK NEW WAY THAT DOESNT REQUIRE OFFLINE

i just tested this and it works perfect
all you need is a firewall that can block specific programs and two browsers

step one
like previously stated force firefox to block all megavideo cookies and delete you current ones
step two
load the videos as many as you want all in different tabs
step three
once the vids are done
block firefoxe's internet access

then you can watch the vids and be online with a different browser

this mega video crap is getting on my nerves...i watch for 10 mins and it tells me i used my 72 minute watching time. that bs...i cant do either trick cuz of that...

anyway...i think there is a bigger problem with this...ive noticed that it doesnt matter how many windows/tabs you open...it WILL buffer everything that you open but it will still only play 72 minutes. No exceptions...but can someone explain this to me

hm i never got that error message before. To me i only had to unplug the internet and it won't give me a message. Maybe it found a way so we can't do this trick no more

has anyone run into the imbedded ads when clicking play on megavideo links in the forums? seems to happen everytime i hit the red play button

yeah, that is their ad system, srry but nothing we can do about it, theyve always done it

and iv never had a problem by loading vids and disconnecting my net, thats always worked for me
btw there is a limit on how many vids megavideo will let you load at once.... its ~10-15 i think

well im pretty certain i know how this works....so you can open as many tabs/windows as you want and it will buffer all.;;;but it will only play 72 mins...if you go offline the players counter starts...now since the player is actually stored on your pc enabling you to play disconecting from the internet or going offline will actually reduce the counter to 10 mins...it may not happen to everyone but thats whats happening to me...at least from what i observed from my computer...however...it is still possible that the player is buffering everything but the source is actually sending 72 minutes worth of a video....its hard to say but whatever they are doing and how but i can say that there is no legit way to get around it.

either way...mega video started this bull...they need to stop or people need to stop uploading to them.

I just reset my IP address by going to my modem and pressing the red reset button

sure its annoying to go down 2 flights of stairs to do but its worth it when an entire series is on Megavid and I wanna watch more. letting entire videos buffer then working offline or whatever takes too long >.<
