The Otaku Ninjas are back! - OtakuCenter

Hello everyone!

We have decided to reactivate the old "Otaku Ninjas", but with a different task in mind. Instead of promoting OC the idea this time is that the Ninjas will help moderators by collecting video codes and uploading videos, so you can join as a Ninja for either or both tasks and help improve OC!

We've got a lot of series on the site and we often need to collect codes in order to dual source or fix a series. Ninjas help existing moderators! Good Ninjas can later be promoted to moderator!

If you want to be a Ninja reply to this thread AND send me a PM. You can also post a real moderator application as most new moderators start out as Ninjas nowadays. We will be accepting Ninjas depending on how much work we've got and will try to keep the active number around 10. I keep a list of members interested in getting the next ninja spot.

Some important rules/notes:

All Otaku Ninjas will be given the additional title Otaku Ninja and there might be some more perks in the future for active Ninjas.
All code collecting tasks will be handled via the secret Otaku Ninja forum and we've already got a couple of jobs up for the first Ninjas.
New Ninjas must accept the first task they're given, if given one directly from a Senior Sannin or OtakuKage.
While Ninjas shouldn't be expected to collect codes every day don't think that you can stay as a Ninja and do nothing for several weeks... unless there is nothing to do of course.

What do you mean by collect video codes?
I can upload videos but, yeah I have no idea what video codes refer to.....

I love this forum and if i could help out i'll be really glad. I can upload videos and find mirrors etc. I don't understand what the video codes are though (is it the video URL?). I would be really happy to be an OC ninja though, please give instructions.

oh, i am a former otaku ninja, well, and now i'm gonne ba again a otaku ninja, i want to get this place even better than it is the best site on net.

If you don't mind, I would like to be a ninja. I can help gather different videos, and also new members. I would be extremely happy to be a ninja, and even more faithful to the forums.

A video code list is basically a big working list of the video codes we use to post the videos on the site.

Don't try to post with anything you don't find on there, as it won't work.

And here's an example of what a finished list should look like.

Notice I didn't close the last bracket of the codes, do this so we get text and not a bunch of embeds.

I also recommend you check over the series you're fixing first, no sense in gathering codes you don't need, unless they're fake named of course.

This seems interesting and all. But I'm not sure of the point in the whole idea.

So baiscally the ninjas just hunt for reserve codes? If for example bleach episode 103 veoh is broken. The ninja, hunts for a code that still works? Like another veoh code or from another streaming site like you tube, even if it sucks on youtube. Google or whatever you name it?
