Famous Japanese voice actor Daisuke Gouri passed away in Tokyo on Sunday, reports the Tokyo Shimbun paper. Gouri, who's real name is Yoshio Nagahori, is best known for playing Robin Mask in the Kinnikuman anime series and Umigame and Mr. Satan in Dragon Ball. He's also had roles in several other notable anime franchises such as Gundam and Patlabor. Gamers know him from games such as Tekken, Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy XII.

Gouri was discovered wandering the streets in Nakano ward, blood dripping from his arm, before collapsing around 3pm. Police are investigating his death as a possible suicide and The Yomiuri Shimbun paper adds that a knife or some sharp object was found under him along with a last will and testament nearby.

Daisuke Gouri was 57 years old.

Wow that just sounds surreal.

O.O why would someone take there life? I mean wow specially when hes so well known in the anime/gameing community had great rolls in some good anime and in some pretty good gaming franchises!

to be honest i could careless when someone kills themselves. its their life to take. i do feel bad for the ppl who will miss him his family friends and pets. anyways, it takes real balls to killl yurself especially when (if yu believe this stuff) yu think about the afterlife. i mean the thing that stops me from killin myself when i get depressed is 1 i will miss that next episode of my favorite show 2 the notion that my thoughts will disappear when i die, that everythng wil either turn to black or bathe in glorious light. some ppl say theyv seen heaven when they had a close call with death. others say it was the oxygen deprived mind hallucinating. 3 would be the mushy stuff my family and friends. there were a few times when i had no access or notion of the above three reasons i live and i attempted suicide. for reasons i now forget i didnt go thru with it. be it god's will or my own cowardice i am still alive.
