I like it where the characters are mentally insane so maybe students is the best answear. i really liked welcome to the NHK. And stories with romance usually always involve students. It's probally the best choice. Ninjas and samurais are over done. But at the same time i really liked basilisk.
I'd actually like to see an anime about doctors. Like Trauma Center the anime. i've dreamed of this forever! I really wanna see Dr. Derek Stiles get with Dr. Angie Thompson in the end to and show her hwo to use a syeringe.
This was a hard one I love magicians, ninja, samurai, and giant robots the best is when they mix them together a bit but I had to choose one so I went for giant robots (I would love gundam 0 or gundam 01 for my self) because I thought it would be unfair to my other favorites to choose ninja over samurai or magicians =-)

Well I said giant robots but obviously I mean the characters inside the robots. Pirates are crap, samurai would be my second choice, followed by ordinary ppl.
